Refund Policy

We want you to feel safe buying credits. This page explains when a refund is available and how to request one.
1. 7-Day Refund on Unused Credits
If you haven't used any of the credits from a purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date. No questions asked.
2. Partially Used Credit Packs
If you've used some credits, the remaining credits are refunded on a pro-rata basis within the 7-day window. Example: you buy the Starter pack (10 credits for $4.99) and use 3 credits. A refund within 7 days returns the value of 7 credits = $3.49.
3. Failed Generations Are Auto-Refunded in Credits
If a generation fails due to a server error on our side (model timeout, infrastructure fault, etc.), the credit is automatically refunded to your balance within minutes. You do not need to contact us.
4. Unsatisfactory Results
A generation that completes successfully but doesn't match your taste (wrong colour, odd pose, unexpected artefact) does not qualify for a cash refund — AI output is inherently variable, and the cost we pay to the model runs regardless. However, we generally offer 1 free regeneration on request for customers who report a clearly broken result (e.g. anatomical issues, prompt ignored entirely). Email hello@inpaintly.app with the generation ID.
5. Chargebacks and Fraud
Please contact us before raising a chargeback — most issues can be resolved in under 24 hours. Accounts that initiate chargebacks on used credits will be suspended pending review.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@inpaintly.app from the address associated with your Inpaintly account, including:
- Your order ID (from the LemonSqueezy receipt);
- The reason for the refund.
We aim to respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds are issued through LemonSqueezy back to the original payment method and typically appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Consumer-Protection Rights
Nothing in this policy overrides consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law. If those rights grant you a longer refund window or broader protection, those rights apply.
